The Mentor
Reflections | AJESH KUMAR N K | 24/06/2020
I walked, the way he walked,
but I stepped in to the bareness.
I heard, the way he heard,
but i coded all the obscure notations.
I loved, the way he loved,
but I boomed in to the darkness.
I chose, the way he chose,
but I engrossed all inferior in class.
I read, the way he read,
but I missed all the lines in between.
I wrote, the way he wrote,
but I communicated all odds.
I thought, the way he thought,
but I classified as lunatic.
I knotted, the way he proposed,
but I settled as in cobwebs.
I dreamt, the way he dreamt,
but I roused in to emptiness.
I lived, the way he lived,
but I dissolved in the mob.
I prayed, the way he prayed,
but I lost in FUMES and he lost in LUCK
